A California police officer with ties to the Proud Boys was fired on Friday, authorities said.
Rick Fitzgerald, a former Fresno officer, was removed from the department after video surfaced of him last month gathering with far-right protesters in YouTube footage posted by a former Proud Boy.
The ex-officer has previously said in online posts that he previously was affiliated with the Proud Boys and encourages people to join the extremist group, The Fresno Bee had reported in March.
He had said on a podcast that he was part of the local Proud Boys group for roughly a year, rising to leadership levels, before leaving, the newspaper reported.

From what I can tell, mostly they seem to be guilty of being anti-Communist.

Name a SINGLE RALLY where violence has broken out where only ‘Right Wing’ people were in in attendance. So that would be a rally with Proud Boys, the KKK, NAZIs, Oath Keepers, etc...but WITHOUT Leftists there.
They cannot, because it doesn’t happen.
Now, name a rally with violence, and with only ‘Left Wing’ people in attendance. Well, once can start with the 1992 Rodney King Riots (Los Angeles), and continue to virtually all of the rioting last year and this year in the Upper Midwest. And the list is endless...
So who, again, is causing the violence?

Whatever they are (and I admit I’m not too informed about them), it doesn’t seem racist.
