Right now all the builders put in resistance heaters, and let the tenants deal with the $200-plus electric bills in the winter.
Our electric bill was $66 last month. Gas heater/water/stove/laundry is awesome!

Nice...some apartments are paying $250/month in winter, mainly because of those heaters.
