The prosecutors where stupid to go after murder 1...excessive use of force would have been a better case....now the prosecutors case in the little Ive watched has been decimated...this is what you get for trying to push this case in the media...when you have to prove actual malice in a court of law it’s not the same as having the ladies on the view just sit there and call you names

Actually, that is what they have to demonstrate in order to convict Chauvin of the charges they picked. All three require that the state demonstrate that Chauvin used more force than was required to subdue and control Floyd.

Their problem is the state’s own use of force witnesses were forced to admit on cross-examination that given the behavior of Floyd, Chauvin or the other responding officers would have been justified in tasing Floyd. That would have been an ESCALATION of force. And yet, no one tased him.
