David Hogg failed because he didn’t want to do any of the work involved in creating a successful company, instead he just wanted to talk about it on the media. He had a investor sugar daddy waiting to write checks to get his pillow company off the ground, he couldn’t even do something basic like buy a bunch of pillows from Alibaba, stamp “good pillow” on them and charge leftist idiots $79.99 each. He would have made millions doing just that. Instead he gave up because work is hard.
