If you are a cop in a major city controlled by Democrats LEAVE, quit and go to another city where Cops are appreciated or retire if you can…

Its not like there isn’t a booming job market for smart, reliable people in private industry either. WTF would anyone stay in a leftist-city PD department with politicians who are just waiting to pounce is beyond me.

If cops are putting up with this political shyte just for their local government pension in 20 years - I wouldn’t count on that either.

RE: why be a cop in urban force now?....

They always are unsure if the time they kiss their husband or wife goodbye on the way to their shift will be their last glimpse before death.

They get very little of the 1950s style “hooray for officer Mullany who is visiting our school today.” and “Officer, you saved his life.”

Now it’s being taken for granted, or resented, or hated and targeted by blacks and leftist Dems. Our side even is wary as we will be the Deplorable targets of police soon and we openly resent having them fold their arms and watch us get mauled by Antifa.

And will they make it past all the police overseers, the new review boards, court actions without protection and the rest-—to their mundane retirement money. Working at a paint plant probably gives the same retirement plan or more.
