I have very low expectations for coherency in a statement made by the teachers’ unions. They were not met.

After I retired from the Army 25+ years ago I was asked if I was going to go back to teaching. I said “No” because the teachers unions were more for themselves and not for actually teaching students. I knew that teachers pay was traditionally low, but I did not believe that teachers should go on strike or take political positions as the unions were doing.

It has only gotten worse since then as evidenced by the teacher’s unions actions during the Wuhan virus.

All I have heard from teachers unions and teachers in Alaska has been how incredibly difficult it has been to transition to teaching online. And now they are doing some sort of hybrid learning thing; which is basically kids doing online, while sitting in the classroom “if they feel safe enough to go to in person school”.
And then you have these pukes fighting to not do school in person?

That is as good reason as any. If you are looking for a reason. I don’t know what privilege she is talking about, but I don’t care either. So I guess it evens out. But never the less, if the Jews have too much of it, they need to get rid of it. And admit it. It is like signing the Declaration of Independence. If you signed it, own up to it and face the music.

My kids in Marin county I’ve been back two days a week for quite a while but now her five days a week - of course is still masks and other bull crap

So I don’t really know who Miss wind guards talking about here but I assume it’s the Los Angeles unified school district

And I will further state that I don’t think the kids (if they’re old enough and not special needs ). really give a crap whether they’re going to school or not

in fact they love being out of school so they can screw around

American Jews are now part of the ownership class. Jews were immigrants from somewhere else. And they needed the right to have public education. And they needed power to have enough income and wealth for their families that they could put their kids through college and their kids could do better than they have done. Both economic opportunity through the labor movement and an educational opportunity through public education were key for Jews to go from the working class to the ownership class. What I hear when I hear that question is that those who are in the ownership class now want to take that ladder of opportunity away from those who do not have it.
