Exactly. The gun control mantra makes it seem as though inanimate objects are running around shooting people.
1. ‘Mainstream Media’ - Yes, I use that term. Rush regularly used the term and no problem with it. But I also use the terms, "New Media" and "Alternative Media" to distinguish from leftist media. No biggie in my estimation.
2. ‘Gender,’ When You Mean ‘Sex’ - I say sex.
3. ‘Sex-Reassignment Surgery’ - I usually say something that can't be written on Free Republic.
4. ‘Democracy,’ When You Mean ‘Republic’ - Always say Republic and frequently explain the differences with Democracy and why we don't want a Democracy.
5. ‘Abortion Doctors’ and ‘Abortion Clinics’ - I say, Baby Murders, Unborn Baby Murders and Abortion Mills or Killing Factories. This is actually one thing I go out of my way to relabel, even though the original terms are technically correct.
6. ‘Antidiscrimination’ - I don't use the word. I believe in discrimination and it is different than being a bigot.
7. ‘Undocumented Immigrant’ - Wetback works fine for me. I use other terms that are even more vicious, but not on Free Republic.
8. ‘Equity’ Or ‘Equality,’ - When You Mean The Other - No problem with correct usage, all things being equal.
9. ‘Cisgender’ - Say what? Never been uttered from my mouth. I don't even think I ever wrote the word, if it really is a word. (It was cut & pasted in this post.) Only recently (couple of years) have I heard the term.
10. ‘Pro-Choice’ - I say pro-murder.
Pretty easy for me to do all of this, since I didn't give into political correctness back in the 90's or whatever modern language trends exist since. I am firmly reluctant to change, like any good conservative should be. I conserve the American language. There's another term that should be used. We speak and write the American language, not English. We also belong to the American race. I guess that ages me a little.
Actually, it isn't fair enough. Those called "conservative" today are actually classical liberals. 300 years ago the liberals were those who promoted the freedom of the individual over the state. Historically, the west was emerging from monarchies, which were statist entities, and liberals led the way. The conservatives at that time defended the monarchies; i.e., they were statists. [It is interesting to me that the term "statist" does not appear to be in the dictionary employed to correct my typing on this FR entry. Perhaps someone does not want us talking about "statists"?!]
Just like the Democrats, once they realized that BLUE was preferable to RED, stole the BLUE designation of the Republicans during television election coverage, the left stole the name of liberal recognizing that it was the preferred term.

7. Illegal Invaders.
Immigrants are invited, Invaders are repelled.
Instead of “Mainstream Media”, I use the term “Party Organs”.
I suppose you could argue Nixon/Kennedy qualifies, buts that would be the last one.
I’ve been watching since Ford/Carter, and every one of them has been “Liberal panelists grill and play gotcha with the Republican candidate.”
We are dealing with Leftists, not Liberals.
Classic Liberalism had it’s foundation in Free Speech and the free expression of Political beliefs for all.
They believed that Government had the responsibility to solve problems, not control the Population through threats and intimidation which is exactly what is happening today.
Today’s Leftists are nothing but Stalinist wannabes and they prove it every minute of every day. The more power they perceive they have the more they will do anything and everything to achieve even more.

It explains why democrats like to use the word so much they never say we are a Republic.
Democratic, when you mean democrat.
Immigrant, when you mean criminal alien.
Global warming, when you mean Fascism.

The word “homophobe” first came into use, and appeared in the dictionary, in the late 1960’s.
What a niggardly list of words we need to cancel.
“Cultural Diversity”...This term represents a meme introduced by the left to lull the low-info masses into complacency while socialists/globalists constantly push their rot.
“People of color” should be “non-whites”.
Use breed instead of race.
#4 (Democracy) is so bad, even many on here still use it. I gave up on helping other FReepers get it right.
Another that should be added, is “gay”.. We all know what the real meaning is.
Conservative actually used to = Liberal. (Classical Liberal)
