Murkowski became a senator in much the same way that Obumbles did ... by slandering and sliming their opponent to the point where continuing theie campaign was impossible. Then (s)he was elected by default. Lisa has known for years that she was not what most Alaskans wanted but since she was a senator, the unhappy constituents could FOAD.
Now she has realized that her chances of re-election are slim. So there is no longer any reason the pretend to be conservative. So in the next 16 months she will align herself with any position that fills her rice bowl and then retire in Jan 2023 to a sedate life of indecent luxury.
Very difficult choice. If the republican is Bush league, I would have to go with MAGA. I said difficult because probably it will help the democrat no matter which republican I vote for.

Murky will NOT win as a democrat. She won the write in vote with a mix of Bush league republicans and democrats voting to defeat the more conservative republican. Running as a democrat Murky will get very few republican votes for a win.
Maybe we can let the Russkies have Alaska back. They can even keep the $7.2 million we paid for it.

So let me get this straight - Murkowski feels sorry for Gupta because Gupta has had such a rough time having to lie about and avoid addressing her past inflammatory, controversial and vulgar statements.

That harridan from Alaska should never be referred to as a “moderate Republican” because the truth is she’s a far left ‘rat masquerading as a Republican.
Been here 30 years, remember when Lisa ran for state house, and I have never voted for her. Our current Repub Governor is a joke and many of Repub state legislators side with the dems. There’s a habit up of politicals switching parties after elections and good ole boy network is powerful. They all want to keep spending more money.
I thought Alaska passed a law after 2010 making incumbent losers of major party primaries ineligible to run in the general election.

Either she thinks this will help her in Alaska get Dem support in the jungle primary system, or he isn’t running again.
