way too long in coming - but happy for the Armenians. i’d rather he stop kowtowing to Chinese and rescue the Uyghurs, an actual ongoing genocide. that would actually be worth applauding. instead he calls genocide ‘a cultural norm’ for the Chinese.

Thanks; I won’t excuse Turkey but I won’t pretend we know the full story either. Ottoman Turkey was slowly being ground down in WWI on that front with Russia, and may well have committed atrocities against a population they viewed as allied with Russia to deal with it. I believe that is the closest they’ve come to explaining it.
