Exactly. The blue wall of silence is why we are here. They are accomplices in his many years of misconduct. This is an age old story and it’s is found in many departments to the tune of $3 billion in lawsuits over the past 10 years around the country. People on this site want to pretend this has not been a contributing factor to where we are today. When there are people who have destroyed public trust-it makes an impact-and when departments cover it up-year after year-it makes an impact.

You either obey the oath you took or you do not. Period. When someone violates that oath and someone else’s constitutional rights-you have a duty- I do not care of their uniform is the same color as you. It’s called honor. If you don’t-you are no different than the thugs you are arresting.
