Bottom Line: The Chinese & Indian audiences dwarf the US audience. Hollywood and the NBA would rather speak to those markets than their own. In the end it won’t make any difference as those countries have their own entertainment industries and after Hollywood gets played out, we’ll all be watching Chinese movies.

Saw a spectacularly bad movie with Bruce Willis that was made in China. Some impressive CGI effects, but the main actors were really Chinese.

Amanda Milius isn’t telling the truth; it was never ‘Half of America’. Hollywood, in the business of selling fiction, sold the lie that half the population thought as warped as they did when the truth is that it’s always been a small fraction.
