The Democrats made a big mistake by keeping former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) out of the fold. Her message can and will resonate with an awful lot of people who have grown tired of absolutely everything being viewed through the lens of race. Gabbard took to Twitter to post a video begging people to stop the practice of what she calls “racialism.” Unlike racism, racialism is the blaming of every societal ill on racism until the message is totally lost. Example: Removing all people of color off of grocery packaging.
It’s enough, already. “Please, please, let us stop the racialization of everyone and everything. It’s racialism,” Gabbard said. “We are all children of God and therefore family in the truest sense, no matter our race or ethnicity. This is Aloha. And this is what our country and world need.”
She went on to castigate the mainstream media for ginning up hatred. “The mainstream propaganda media and politicians: they want us to constantly focus on our skin color or the skin color of others because it helps them politically or financially.”
The Hawaiian philosophy of Aloha is beautiful and Gabbard explains it well. “Aloha means respect and love for others. It’s what enables us to see beyond our skin color and see the soul, the person within,” she said. “So let’s do our best to cultivate this Aloha in our hearts and see and treat others through this prism of love, not through the prism of race and ethnicity.”
Gabbard finished strong, saying, “Please, let us not allow ourselves to be led down this dark and divisive path of racialism and hate.”
She’s so normal and good. Why can’t all Democrats be like Tulsi?

I would hope now that she’s out of office and no longer beholden to the most liberal consituency in the country she could move a bit more to the center.

Heck, the Dems have one (Tulsi) or two ( Joe Manchin being the other ), Republicans have tons - Romney, Murkowski, Collins, Liz Cheney, Kasich, etc. etc.
I could say that even with Republicans officially in the majority, the Democrats get their way ( see John McCain, who promised to get rid of Obamacare and then when it came down to voting, voted to RETAIN IT ).
The accusations of Racism on everything has finally become the Ho-Hum of Politics. It is used so often that it has become meaningless and most people don’t even pay attention to it anymore.
She is a Democrat. She is a Leftist. She is all in with the people who want to destroy this country. She is someone banking on her “pretty face” and “military service” but she is just as bad as ANYONE with a “D” in front of their name.

She knows the real world is not the fantasy world most Libtards believe in.
She is also a Hindu, so she knows a few other things about the real world that most Libtards simply deny - Islam and the behaviors of Muslims that are contrary to western values but very much in concert with the Quran.

Blacks are 13% of the population. There is some contorted definition change that can elevate that to 14%.
I a legitimate and unbiased Presidential race, she would have been the only one that could have given President Trump a run for his money. She still would have lost but she’s Theo my one on that side with a modicum of common sense.
That’s why Tulsi stands out, her Dem competition in the female looks category is nonexistent.

She says some good things, but she strikes me as a typically deluded leftist - she thinks you can have the socialist utopia, without having the KGB, the gulag, the never-ending war, or the corruption.
Yes, and that’s exactly why she didn’t stand a chance in the primaries. They would never allow her to be the candidate.
She is, if she was not she wouldn't associate with that party.
