Family resettled there in 2001. We spent every summer there with our family, it is very discouraging to see our beloved paradise has been discovered.
Yep. For a LONG time, it was unknown, undiscovered, and tucked away in a remote, hard-to-get-to corner of the US. Mom was born up the road in Sandpoint, grew up in Potlatch, and her parents retired to Hayden (close to CdA) in 1966. I've spent a lot of time in ID all those years. Both Dad and his brother married Idaho girls and my uncle and family never left ID. I liked the West better when it was low-key Western and full of ranchers and timber men.
