It's gorgeous, as is Pend Oreille and much of the surrounding area. I'm not a big fan of snow, so it would be paradise for 3 seasons. I guess I could visit friends and family in warmer climates during winter months.
Winters vary a lot. This winter was extremely mild, less than five feet of snow. Only a couple of 8-10 inch dumps, but they didn’t last long. We didn’t have snow on the ground that many days. Fortunately, the ski resorts did pretty well.
We moved to CDA almost two years ago. Since Covid it has become a zoo. Long time locals are pissed and rightly so.
