The estimates were for both Kalifornia and New York to lose two seats after the 2020 Census. The fact that each only lose one is proof of Blue States were rewarded by the 2020 Census.

Texas gained population and warranted 4 additional representatives in the House. Somehow, the numbers changed and Texas was granted 2 additional representatives.
If the Demon-rats make DC the 51st state, and of course they’ve forgotten about their stance to make Puerto Rico the 51st state (guess it’ll be 52nd?) they’ll get 2 (or 4) more senators, and 1 or 2 more representatives (depending on population, of course).

Even in blue states like New York that lost seats but whose legislatures are controlled by Democrats, Republicans may lose seats because of new gerrymandering.
