Not yet a Democrat Socialist, but no longer a Republican - chances of survival in Wyoming as an elected official are becoming increasingly tenuous and doubtful. There is still an outside chance that the name alone, or combined with her magnetic and adorable personality, may be enough to win yet another term in the state in which she has chosen to represent, but in fact has begun to fail in so many ways.
Kurt’s problem is that he’s so immersed in partisan politics that he can’t see what’s happening here. Cheney very much IS a Republican. It’s a huge portion of the party’s grassroots supporters who aren’t. That’s why they selected Trump over the feckless @ssholes the GOP trotted out as contenders in 2016.
Not yet a Democrat Socialist, but no longer a Republican - >>> I would say she is an international socialist which is different than the national socialist. (NAZI) The current political states the international socialist dominate are Russia ( a few less satellites but working on getting more), the EU and China (with various southeast asia satellites.) She may not favor Russia but she currently favors the socialist du jour China. The socialists have been favoring China since Nixon as a foil to the then dominant Russia.

Wouldn’t shock me if she didn’t immediately switch parties once she’s removed from her House GOP leadership post.
