‘Topping Off’ is the type of behaviour that cultivates long lines. As they say here in B’More, ‘every man for his self’

Mobile and Pensacola should have no supply problems as they get supplied by barge into the big petroleum terminals at Mobile and Panama City.

Likewise, all of Florida should be ok as our petroleum products come by barge into marine terminals on the Gulf Coast and Atlantic sides of Florida.

The Jimmy Carter gas lines all over again...

Summer of 1979, the second oil crisis hit, after the disastrous crisis of 1973. Each of these crises separately made a terrible hit on the Presidency, leading to resignation by Richard Nixon, and defeat in the polls by Jimmy Carter.

Joe Stolen is letting these things accelerate at a much faster rate than has been seen up to now.

I’m in this area. I’m a recluse and don’t get out much but my son told me Saraland is having a shortage. Frankly, I wasn’t sure if that was accurate. I assumed we got gas in this area from the Shell refinery in Saraland. Maybe that gas is going somewhere else or it’s tied to the pipeline too.
