Authorities have arrested the man who was seen taking in a tiger that was spotted roaming loose in a Houston neighborhood on Sunday. That tiger, whose name is India, has yet to be located.
Multiple police sources identified the man as 28-year-old Victor Cuevas. Cuevas, who is currently out on bond on an unrelated murder charge, is known to possess several exotic animals.
The search for Cuevas began Sunday after he evaded police. But on Monday, he was taken into custody to the Fort Bend County jail.
He was supposed to turn himself in at 8:15 p.m. at the Harris County jail. Instead, Cuevas' lawyer said Houston police picked him up at his mother's house in Richmond and took him to the Fort Bend County jail.

Wasn't there some lowlife homo in Oklahoma who dealt drugs and kept tigers? He was called something like "tiger man".
Tiger just happens to wander up to a random individual in Houston, and that individual just happens to be wanted for murder. But the murder case is “unrelated,” which I guess is MSM-speak for “no biggy.”
The police haven’t located the tiger yet.
“Tiger just happens to wander up to a random individual in Houston, and that individual just happens to be wanted for murder. “
Read it again.
When they do, they should add it to their K9 Corps...the tiger apparently has a nose for those wanted for murder...lolol.
He did the right thing for the tiger.
At least it will stay alive now.
His lawyer is a real piece of work!
“the tiger apparently has a nose for those wanted for murder...lolol.”
?
When you are wanted on murder charges, I would think one would want to avoid the unwanted attention a pet tiger might create.
But what do I know?
Might be barbecue or sleeping with the fishes.
I’m gonna guess that murder charge has something to do with the tiger? Good kitty..
I just did some extrapolation from the article.
“I just did some extrapolation from the article.”
Nothing in the article can be extrapolated to your conclusion.
It’s a Dashhound.
EvenTX is screwed up; the guy is out on bond on a murder charge. Back in the day they’d be held on no bail or possibly very very high bail.
You cannot make this crap up. Ol boy is out on parole for a murder charge and the city at Houston wants to throw him behind bars because he violated The ban Ion having a huge ferocious predator in the city limits. Just to repeat this dude was out on PAROLE FOR A MURDER rap, and now he’s going to the pokey because he violated the cities ban on huge predators. I feel like I’m losing my freaking mind.
