strike that - the specific crypto not stated, but it is untraceable. I’m not a crypto owner, so don’t know the ins and outs and there are a LOT of them.

I need to learn more about Bitcoin and crypto currency. They say it’s untraceable, yet, supposedly all transactions are booked in multiple places, so the system has redundancy in tracking your Bitcoin balance and Bitcoin transactions.

So if your transactions are tracked in multiple locations, and the books have to balance and all that, then how are Bitcoin transactions considered untraceable?

Nothing in 100% untraceable now days it’s like the privacy issue.
