Reminds me of when the Nazis started injecting their watchers into the Luftwaffe. For many of the pilots at the time, the German Luftwaffe was a proud division filled with men who lived by a code of honor. As the war dragged on, Hitler became weary of dissention in the Luftwaffe and added political officers to ensure everyone was playing by their rules.
