In Biden White House, the Celebrity Staff Is a Thing of the Past - BARF ALERT
The New York Slimes ^ | 05/18/2021 | Annie Karni

Because of his longevity in politics and underdog personality, combined with the depth of the crises he is facing, President Joe Biden is undoing a long-standing Washington tradition in which staff members enjoy their own refracted fame.

Gone are the days when a counselor to the president like Kellyanne Conway was so well-known that she needed her own security detail; when a White House press secretary like Sean Spicer was a recurring character on “Saturday Night Live”; when a policy adviser like Stephen Miller was not only recognized but booed out of a restaurant; and when a glamorous, drama-prone communications director like Hope Hicks was photographed regularly by the paparazzi as she left her home in workout clothes.

The media dogged every person even remotely associated with President Trump: berated, ridiculed, and mocked every single one of them!

Now they act as if the current idiot in the White House is saintly because they (our enemedia) are NOT dogging his people!

GAG ME!

Actually, I think the staffers are hiding and not wanting to be tarred with the incredible backlash that is coming.

Just like in a story written by one of the people here on FR, the first people shot from the “fictional” administration were the ones who were in the media eye.

I think these people are really scared and don’t want the media attention.

BARF ALERT

Actually, I find this story from the Slimes quaint and telling.

The WH is uninhabited. Literally. Lights out almost every single night, on a timer, at exactly 11:00 PM. BidAn never having flown on ANY aircraft with a call sign of "AF1".

Operation Mockingbird is being taken down, and with this Slimes story, in a back-channel way, is indicating to me at least that the Reveal of the tentacles of Mockingbird in this rag is well underway.

Biden named Blinkin Secretary of State because Blinkin is even more of an idiot as Biden is, or so Biden thinks.

Maxine Waters encourages supporters to harass Trump administration officials
By Jamie Ehrlich, CNN
Updated 2:02 PM EDT, Mon June 25, 2018

Rep. Maxine Waters called on her supporters to publicly confront and harass members of the Trump administration in response to the “zero tolerance” policy that led to the separation of families at the border.

The California Democrat and vehement critic of President Donald Trump made the comments on Saturday, first at a rally in Los Angeles and later in a television interview. The comments, which come after several Trump administration officials have been recently protested at restaurants, have raised fresh questions about the state of American political discourse and were seized on by Trump for political gain.

“Let's make sure we show up wherever we have to show up. And if you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd. And you push back on them. And you tell them they're not welcome anymore, anywhere. We've got to get the children connected to their parents,” Waters said at the Wilshire Federal Building, according to video of the event...

Nonsense article.

To the extent it makes a point it is a cover for the fact that each and everyone in this “administration” is a puppet.

There is a collective behind it which I call a cartel.

Yes, the media demonized and harassed every member of the Trump administration, to the point where strangers in restaurants were shouting at them and menacing them, sometimes forcing them to leave. If people aren’t hounding Psaki or Becerra it isn’t because of their virtue, but because conservatives typically don’t believe in engaging in that type of behavior.

"Because of his longevity in politics and underdog personality, combined with the depth of the crises he is facing, President Joe Biden is undoing a long-standing Washington tradition in which staff members enjoy their own refracted fame."

Let's examine the assumptions implicit in that statement:

1. What does Biden's "longevity in politics" have to do with whether or not his staff enjoy "refracted fame"?

2. Biden's "underdog personality"? Says who?

3. Is Biden dealing with crises more severe than those his predecessors faced? And are not some/most them of his own doing?

4. Is not the notoriety of White House staff - for better or worse - largely a function of the treatment they receive in the press and of the nature of their political opponents? The article seems to suggest that in the case of Biden's staff, the lack of notoriety is somehow due to their virtue or down-to-earth professionalism, not to the coddling and adoring treatment they receive in the press.

The only way anybody becomes famous or infamous is if the press reports about them. So, basically, the NYT is complaining that...I’m not sure what they’re complaining about. They are the ones who created non-stop controversies in the Trump administration. I really like this one:

“Hope Hicks was photographed regularly by the paparazzi as she left her home in workout clothes.”

Did she pay the paparazzi to do this? Is it her fault the paparazzi felt a need to do this? This whole article is stupid. (I’m not criticizing you for post it.)
