, eventually that school will be renamed.

There will eventually be no public places named in honor of anyone from before about the year 2000. Reason being, any such individual will have something objectionable in their history, objectionable to today’s political correctness.

What is - and is not - politically correct quickly changes. So even those folks might not be safe.

Heck, even math is now considered by some people to be racist. So anyone who ever taught math could be suspect.

It’s something like the days of the French Revolution. Cheer the work of the guillotine today. Be dragged to the guillotine yourself tomorrow.
