COMMENTARY: The Pontifical Academy for Life has said that Catholics may use, in a narrowly defined limit, vaccines prepared with cell lines derived from aborted children, but with strong warnings regarding our obligation to protest. Protest with every lawful means. Whether we use the vaccine or not, we are to “make life difficult” for pharmaceutical industries who continue to use abortion-tainted cell lines in research and production. Here are a few suggestions.
Email the company (Moderna, Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson): “If you stop using the remains of aborted children in all research and production, your product will gain the Christian market.” Companies can change their practices, just as Sanofi Pasteur did earlier this year, when it committed to discontinuing the use of aborted fetal cell lines in its polio vaccines. Don’t let people tell you it cannot be done; it can. (SNIP)
Contact your representatives and senators. “I object to the use of the remains of aborted children in vaccines or any other biomedical product, and I will back this up with my vote and my money.” (SNIP)

Sadly, it’s true, but Johnson and Johnson is the worst, because they used aborted children from the beginning to the end.

CHILDREN OF GOD website said there is an ethical vaccine, but it won’t be available until the end of the year at the earliest.
I haven’t received the vaccine but Catholic people and organizations I trust and respect have. The Dominican nuns from Nashville have been vaccinated. They are almost the gold standard to me. Patrick Madrid (Relevant Radio) said the vaccine is licit but not necessary. Finally, haven’t Chaput and Cordileone been vaccinated?
Does anyone have a list of ingredients contained in each of these so called vaccines?
I’ve searched and searched the internet with no luck. Lots of websites with conflicting reports as to whether fetal tissue/cells are incorporated into the process.
Very confusing. So I cannot definitively say, “I refuse the vaccine on religious grounds due to aborted fetal tissue”.

I can see both sides of the issue, because the vaccine is so terribly unethical, but we don’t want to see even millions of more people dying from the virus. Years ago I called Merck about their unethical Shingles vaccine, and now I’m working on the COVID vaccines. (Now there is a ETHICAL vaccine that replaced Merck’s Shingles vaccine in most pharmacies, and it even WORKS BETTER!)
Whether we take the vaccine, or not, I think we should fight hard to stop the EVIL use of using aborted babies in vaccines.

Thanx...Children of God for Life. Awesome!! My workplace has not mandated vaccine for employees...yet. They have allowed those vaccinated to stop the use of masks, however if you’ve not been vaccinated, you must still wear a mask.

Just read both. It appears there are some conflicts contained...am I missing something?
I do not want the experimental gene therapy. This is not a vaccine. The spike protein generated DOES NOT have an off switch. No one knows how long these proteins will continue in the human body and whether it is safe long term.
Besides that, I am now aware that these drugs utilize fetal tissue/cells during development...that is a huge concern for us.
Love how pharma uses terms like HEK-239 in lists of ingredients. Human embryonic kidney 239. Very clever.

In fact the author of the article in the Opening Post of this thread is the chief research officer of Children of God for Life.
They also have a posting comments/asking questions section. I’ve even called them to find out if the flu shot is ethical.
