Backups eh? I was ridiculed here on FR for questioning why there were no backup systems for the gasoline pipeline. I was told that isn’t how things are done now. I declared that having a ‘single point of failure’, in the context of system security requirements, was an unacceptable architecture - only to be told I was wrong and that I didn’t understand that term.

Personally, I think if they didn't have backups, they should be held to be criminally liable for any losses.
