The mask advice was correct. You don’t wear it to prevent getting it, you wear it not to give the disease to others. Burwell was very unlikely to have caught the virus at that time, so it was sound advice.
What they didn’t know in early February was that asymptomatic people would be carrying the virus and infecting so many other people and killing them as a result.
So the mask advice changed when they learned how much of the spread and subsequent death was coming from people who had the virus but didn’t know it.
Now that I am vaccinated I don’t wear a mask anymore. It’s nice knowing I’m incredibly unlikely to give the disease to other people.
But you can still get the virus and give it to others.
And those who have already had the virus need to wear masks???????????????????????????????????????

The mask did nothing. Almost all masks were in effective for a virus that can pass right through them.

If you had Covid 19 over the last year and you did not get hospitalized, then you have immunity. If anyone that does not take the "vaccine", does not get hospitalized, then they have imminuty too.
