Thanks for the thanks. Some of us are guilty of header conclusions without actually reading the content. Yes, I fall into that group on occasion. :-}

A whole lot of college kids will have a choice to make. Get the jab if you want to continue your education or don't get the jab and end your education.

When speaking about colleges in the U.S., the operative word is not "education", it's "indoctrination".

I wonder how many people read about the adverse events people who take HCQ and Ivermectin are suffering. I think it would be very enlightening for them.

Neither invermectin or HCQ have been approved for treating COVID.

Some of the side-effects that may be associated with ivermectin include skin rash, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, facial or limb swelling, neurologic adverse events (dizziness, seizures, confusion), sudden drop in blood pressure, severe skin rash potentially requiring hospitalization and liver injury (hepatitis). Laboratory test abnormalities include decrease in white cell count and elevated liver tests. Any use of ivermectin for the prevention or treatment of COVID-19 should be avoided as its benefits and safety for these purposes have not been established. Data from clinical trials are necessary for us to determine whether ivermectin is safe and effective in treating or preventing COVID-19.

Hydroxychloroquine is associated with several rare but serious adverse reactions that may warrant immediate discontinuation of the medicine. Serious adverse reactions include ophthalmological, cardiomyopathy and QT prolongation, haematological, and neurological and neuromuscular reactions

15 Jun 2020. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) revoked the emergency use authorization (EUA) that allowed for chloroquine phosphate and hydroxychloroquine sulfate donated to the Strategic National Stockpile to be used to treat certain hospitalized patients with COVID-19 when a clinical trial was unavailable, or participation in a clinical trial was not feasible. The agency determined that the legal criteria for issuing an EUA are no longer met. Based on its ongoing analysis of the EUA and emerging scientific data, the FDA determined that chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine are unlikely to be effective in treating COVID-19 for the authorized uses in the EUA. Additionally, in light of ongoing serious cardiac adverse events and other potential serious side effects, the known and potential benefits of chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine no longer outweigh the known and potential risks for the authorized use. This is the statutory standard for issuance of an EUA.

Those who believe in natural immunity should also read about the persistent ‘long haul’ complications in COVID survivors. I think that would be very enlightening for them.

My supervisor, whom I’ve know for quite some time, called me yesterday morning. She worried that I would catch this variant and then something would happen to me if I didn’t get the jab. It was real concern in her voice, not toeing some company line.

I said I understood, but that I wasn’t getting it at the current time. She honored my choice, but I still think she is worried about me.

People have their own circumstances, and some may be medically advised against the vaccine for such circumstances.

But when I saw that the Moderna vaccine was not only 95% better than control - meaning that your chance of getting Covid is approximately 0.1% - and that even if you did get it, you didn’t need hospitalization - I was on board. What I got was Pfizer, but it’s quite similar to Moderna, so I reckon the probabilities are about the same.

I accede reluctantly to the mask requirements in effect out of courtesy, but otherwise have no confidence that my wearing them significantly benefits anyone. The requirements are a nuisance.

I don’t really care whether one gets the shot or not at this point, although it seems logical to me to get it. The info’s out there, and we’re so close to herd immunity that even health care facilities shouldn’t be requiring it of their employees.

I’m fully vaxxed, but I still oppose the otherization of unvaxxed people. What’s next? The Vax Klux Klan???

There has been an amazing mass media propaganda campaign spreading fear and pushing vaccines—so it is understandable that the gullible are falling for it.

I am not angry at folks that have been fooled—the problem is with the con artists that have been fooling them.

How about another reason NOT to get the so-called “vaccine”:

https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lanmic/article/PIIS2666-5247(21)00069-0/fulltext

From text:

” Vaccine efficacy is generally reported as a relative risk reduction (RRR). It uses the relative risk (RR)—ie, the ratio of attack rates with and without a vaccine—which is expressed as 1–RR. Ranking by reported efficacy gives relative risk reductions of 95% for the Pfizer–BioNTech, 94% for the Moderna–NIH, 90% for the Gamaleya, 67% for the J&J, and 67% for the AstraZeneca–Oxford vaccines. However, RRR should be seen against the background risk of being infected and becoming ill with COVID-19, which varies between populations and over time. Although the RRR considers only participants who could benefit from the vaccine, the absolute risk reduction (ARR), which is the difference between attack rates with and without a vaccine, considers the whole population. ARRs tend to be ignored because they give a much less impressive effect size than RRRs: 1.3% for the AstraZeneca–Oxford, 1.2% for the Moderna–NIH, 1.2% for the J&J, 0.93% for the Gamaleya, and 0.84% for the Pfizer–BioNTech vaccines.”

In a nutshell... an absolute risk reduction of less than 1.3% is not worth the risk of getting any of the shots (even according to Fauxi).

No, I don't think so.

When the federal government and the US media get the story right and admits that the CCP virus was a premeditated act of planetary bioterrorism for political gain on the part of the CCP and that Tony Fauci and others were in on it, I'll consider the vaccine.

Actually no I won't. Same difference.
