No, that was David Bailey, the Capitol Police officer who helped take down the congressional ballgame shooter. He is often called out for the Ashli Babbett shooting, but it was most certainly not him.

Can you actually see that she’s climbing anything in the video? Because the media keeps saying it, but the video does NOT look that way. She really seems to be several feet from the door.
From the videos I saw at the time, she managed to get her head and shoulders partially through a busted-out pane in the upper part of a door before being shot in the neck and abruptly falling backwards, back into the entranceway. She was shot from the side, not at a 90 degree angle, but at some angle, at least so that she most likely never saw the gunman.

I still think it was someone on Pelosi’s, since the area in qurstion was the Speaker’s Lounge.
I saw that video where she was standing still and when she was shot, the people behind her caught her and lowered her to the ground. I can not find this video now and have been trying to get someone - Chris Salcedo, Tucker Carlson, to research her death. She DID NOT breach a window but can’t find the video now.
.........that’s the one I saw too. She was just standing there almost like a statue and Blam!.....she was shot! It was clear as it could be. Why so many articles of all stripes say she was climbing through a window when shot are a mystery to me when it is just clears as the blue sky she was not “climbing through a window”.
One argument from The Right could be that killing Ashli was planned and the intent was to “send a message” to The Right from The Left of INTIMIDATION.
