I think this is part of the motivation for adding a 51st state. Add a state and the flag has to be redesigned. And they’d push hard for a major redesign. It’s all part of the “cultural revolution” aspect of bringing this country down. Remove any connection to the past.
How about we keep the flag and you find a new country.

here’s my opinion: all those who fought in the civil war were Americans, as were all those who fought in the Indian wars.
Likewise, all those we fought in prior international wars from countries with which we are now allied, they are now our allies.
Furthermore, those who fought honorably, under the laws of war as understood at the time, should be honored.
One day, it should be our hope, that the entire world will be joined in peace, freedom and prosperity. But, until that day is come, we must honor those who respond to the call of duty, to defend us during times of war.
As for the U.S. be imperfect, yes it is, and anybody who says they are perfect is a liar.
It is the devil who tells you that because you’re a sinner that you’re irredeemable. God loves you, and has sent his only son to join us as one of us, to pay the price of your sins. Your page in the Book of Death has been torn out. You are free to fill up your page in the Book of Life.
