Michael Jackson had a TON of talent. His singing, his dancing skills, his understanding of music were world-class. His return tour promised to be fantastic.
So of course his legions of fans refused to believe his guilt (and he got away with it because of who he is).
But why would anyone be a “fan” of this talentless skank? It is like being a fan of a shrub or a weed in someone’s lawn.
I’ve witnessed schizophrenia/insanity take hold of a close relative. It’s not a pretty or pleasant situation. This person also had a significant estate and there was controversy around compensation for the conservator.
The upshot is that BOTH can be true at the same time; a person can be genuinely mentally unfit AND the conservator can be well paid for managing the estate.

I said two things (very badly,as usual):
1) There’s surely a lot of money involved.
2) Theft from rich people isn’t uncommon.
I do understand that spouses are known to steal,accountants are known the steal...
I have 2 relatives with both disorders, meaning both have BOTH disorders. I didn’t just read “the smear” who I must inform you often provides details our socialist media refuses to...that come out later as fact.
What I read was the transcripts of Britney’s statement. Not good enough for you? Well, I assure you she’s not nearly as nutso as most in Hollywood running free. And likely less nutso than a lot of those in our government. Should we even start to name them?
You have a negative opinion and it’s quite disturbing you feel poor Miss Spears is not capable of being loved by anyone she’s in a relationship with. Maybe that is your way of living...after one thing $$$...but maybe it’s not everyone’s.
I’d say after being strip searched each morning/evening for several months. Locked in solitary confinement...and more in the transcripts of her statement I read such as forced to take medications that made her feel drunk...I’d do as told in her shoes.
This is like something out of “The Snake Pit.” She is so mentally unwell that others are allowed to control her life to the smallest detail, but mentally well enough that she can handle the pressure of performing?

Her father is so concerned about her health and wellbeing that he forced her to go off her regular meds and take Lithium, something that made her feel drunk/out of it all the time and then forced her to perform in shows including that Las Vegas residency and even performing at least one time when she sick and had a high fever.
She was forced to have an IUD implanted so she couldn’t have anymore children and not allowed to have it taken out. And even small things like not being able to pick out the color of her new kitchen cabinets for herself.
Forced to take meds that don’t treat her mental health issues but serve only that make her docile and compliant, forced to work against her will, forced to have an invasive birth control device implanted in her and not allowed to have it removed, forced to have a lawyer (making up to 10k a week while she is given a 2k a month “allowance”) not of her own choosing who never informed her she had any legal right to contest the conservatorship.
A lot of people involved including her father and it would seem her lawyer see her as nothing but a cash cow.
If she is truly incapable of making good decisions for herself, that is one thing, but I can’t see what is being done to her as anything less than abusive and akin to slavery.
Just because someone 13 years ago had a mental health breakdown, and a lot of that IMO stemmed from her being young and under her father’s domineering control and the intense media pressure and the paparazzi who followed her every move, that doesn’t mean that she should be under this “conservatorship” 13 years later.
What I hear from her is someone who wants to be free.
FWIW, there have been some celebrities who have had very public meltdowns and drug abuse issues who went on to recover and lead highly successful and healthy lives, Robert Downy Jr. comes to mind.
