Well, Putin’s history in sub manufacturing should give pause.

Experts fear the 79ft-long torpedoes – dubbed Poseidon – could be detonated underwater to cause a radioactive tsunami and threaten coastal cities with waves up to 300ft high. Given the fact submarines aren't the fastest, how would anyone on a sub survive the deployment and underwater detonation of one of these torpedoes? It'd be a suicide mission wouldn't it?

From the graphic; these torpedos not only have nuclear warheads but are also ¿nuclear powered? - really?!

But I do have a couple of places in mind that would make me laugh though.

You may be using old fashioned torpedo capability thinking.
These monsters are probably ‘smart’, and have a hundred mile range (or more?), maybe hold position for days (weeks or months?), then finish the job, or abort and return to ‘mother’.

Every single US boomer can take out cities. Multiple cities. No tsunami needed.
