More to the point, your example is not comparable, because there are laws providing for the case of stolen property. Apparently, our founders couldn't conceive of people brazen enough to steal an election.
I am not saying that stealing an election isn't terrible, merely that the founders didn't give us an easy remedy to that problem; there is impeachment, and there is voting people out in the next election.
It's pretty charming, though that you think that people who stole an election would give up just because they got caught. I don't think that for a minute.
The only way the Democrats can lose is if a huge percentage of non-Republican voters become aware of and sickened by their activities. Is it possible that will happen? I really don't know.

From Russian Collusion lie, the Lafayette Park Photo Op lie, to the Afghanistan Death Bounty lie, the denial of the Wuhan Lab COVID Virus Origin, etc. So, the lie that the 2020 Election was not stolen, is being set up for the fall.
