CDC et Al said the shots were only going to lessen the severity, not prevent infection. The CDC said it would do both.....

Big pharma has itself to blame for why the vaccines are not intended to prevent infection. That is because the end points in their clinical trials were to shorten hospital stays.

Understandable at the time. If they went for the higher bar of preventing infection, and the vaccines didn’t come through, they likely would not have been approved and billions of research down the drain.

So they went for the lower bar which was easier to attain and were successful and the vaccines were approved. Understandable as early on “flattening the curve,” etc, were considered worthy goals.

As it turned out some vaccines were 90% effective at virus prevention. Whether this was serendipitous or the real objective all the time, I don’t know. Supposedly the clinical trial data is still secret.

So from my perspective those who say these are not vaccines because they’re not intended to prevent infection are correct. And those who say they are because they do are also correct. And this is just one facet of the confusion, misinformation, lies, censorship, etc that has been going on since the start of this thing.

I meant to say that the primary endpoints were to lower symptoms.
