Praying for Floridians that it doesn't happen, but if a hurricane hits, there are terrible shortages on parts for things like Air Conditioners, refrigerators and other critical devices.

Had a friend who had an A/C unit break down and was lucky to get a loaner window unit for a few weeks while parts were on order.

Imagine everyone needing parts.

Please be prepared with backup units this season.

That may slow prices come the fall, but thinking on it again, a hurricane is NOT going to strike. /positive thinking

I bought an extra window unit three weeks ago just as a back-up for hurricanes.
