super weak, The Trump organization NOT reporting the value of perks it gave to employees... would actually result in Trump Inc PAYING MORE than they owe in taxes! (because they wouldn’t get to deduct the expense)

THE DEFINITION OF STUPIDITY: New York Attorney General Letitia James, Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance. Utter stupidity......and the two of them continue to flaunt it.

MEMO TO THE STUPIDS (assuming they can read):
<><> Hugh Hefner could NOT get a NJ gaming license;
<><> Barron Hilton of Hilton hotel fame could NOT get a NJ gaming license.
<><> Bob Guccione of Penthouse mag fame could NOT get a NJ gaming license.

LET THAT SINK IN: they could NOT get a gaming license in...... N-e-w J-e-r-s-e-y.

Yet Trump got four gaming licenses in...... N-e-w J-e-r-s-e-y.

These stupid NY characters are looking in the same places the smart NJ gaming vettors looked...vettors who are MUCH smarter than the NY Trump haters.

The gaming vettors didnt find a thing against Trump.

That’s what makes these NY pols stupid......not being able to think above their own sordid political ambitions....thinking their boiling hatred is enough to nail Trump.

The first problem with the indictment is that counts 2 and 3 are completely charges that Weisenberg failed to pay his proper FEDERAL income taxes for 15 years. NY can not bring a charge of a federal “crime”. This must be brought by the IRS, the agency with the authority to bring federal tax fraud charges.

Next, the indictment claims that the Trump organization is responsible Weisenberg’s supposed failure to claim NYC as his official residence. One, I do not believe that NYS can argue a NYC tax fraud. I believe NYC must bring their own case. Second, a person that owns NY home outside of NYC and is living in an apartment leased by his company is not domiciled in NYC, he is just staying close to his work for the convenience of his employer. Once he sold his house he then started paying NYC income taxes. Living in a leased apartment during the week that is paid for by the company is the same as staying in a hotel room rented by his employer. This is a benefit to the company to have a senior employee close by so that company meeting can be held in the late evenings or work can be done late into the night without the employee being concerned about the need to leave early enough to get home for meals and rest.

There are many other issues with the indictment and I would love to have a lawyer break it down count by count. IANAL so this has only been my take.
