Sacagawea’s ancestors came from Asia many thousands of years ago, across the land bridge that is now the Aleutian Islands.

The land bridge was where the Bering Strait is now--I don't know if the Aleutian Islands would have been part of the land bridge (they are quite a bit to the south).
Who will be honored with statues instead of Lewis & Clark and Sacagawea? Mao, Lenin and Che? Nat Turner?
