In Florida, while it’s possible to get a medical marijuana card and go to a dispensary to purchase it, you are waiving your right to own a firearm. I kid you not, if you get a medical marijuana card in Florida, you are abrogating your right to self-defense because Form 4473 requires that you attest you are not an illegal user of marijuana under Federal law.

This is the real reason they haven’t changed the law yet. The left sees this as a way of removing your right to own a gun. If it was just because its a drug they would have eliminated the law once Biden was put in office, and why they didn’t when Obama was in office.
I live in Florida, you can have your card and own a gun but cannot gets a concealed carry.
