President Joe Biden rejected the U.S. intelligence community's assessments on Monday when he explained why he won't introduce sanctions against China in response to its Microsoft Exchange hack.

Biden did so with a statement evoking memories of former President Donald Trump's.... contesting of U.S. intelligence assessments on Russian interference in the 2016 election.

"My understanding," the president said, "is that the Chinese government, not unlike the Russian government, is not doing this [Microsoft Exchange hacking] themselves, but are protecting those who are doing it and maybe even accommodating them in being able to do it."

This is factually incorrect. There are two options here: Biden either misspoke, or he is being deceptive....

Biden is on China’s payroll. He got his cut via his son Hunter. Hunter was paid for work he never did on companies including a front for the Chinese military. The tapes of Hunter raping a little girl were Chinese property, at one point. They have everything on Biden, Pelosi, and others. Our government is owned by China, Gates and other despots.

How can a man of such diminished intelligence attack intelligence agencies? This is a dementia patient trying to convince us to make sense of others when he is pathetically clueless himself.

Don’t expect much from old Joe on the psych ward.

Joe Biden is the lead character in a farce movie, worthy of a Stanley Kubrick production, more ridiculous than Dr. Strangelove.

pathetically clueless indeed. Who else would admit definitively that Russia did not interfer in the 2016 election while trying to excuse China’s cyberwarfare?

Sounds like a confession to me:

"is that the Chinese government, not unlike the Russian government, is not doing this [Microsoft Exchange hacking] themselves, but are protecting those who are doing it and maybe even accommodating them in being able to do it."

“Biden did so with a statement evoking memories of former President Donald Trump’s delusional contesting of U.S. intelligence assessments on Russian interference in the 2016 election.”

Sounds like the author is calling SloJoe delusional.

"My understanding," the president said, "is that the Chinese government, not unlike the Russian government, is not doing this [Microsoft Exchange hacking] themselves, but are protecting those who are doing it and maybe even accommodating them in being able to do it."

Then what Biden is saying is that China is an accessory-after-the-fact at minimum. That's still sanction-worthy. I accept that there might be reasons that the United States might not want to go there, but with the Biden family history of selling US foreign policy he is not the person to be making those decisions. And that is why the electing him was bad for America.
