Democrat Texas state Rep. Donna Howard, who appeared in the now infamous photo of maskless Dem lawmakers on a private jet, faced ridicule after she called for “universal mask-wearing.”
Howard was one of 60 Texas Democrats who boarded a jet to Washington, D.C., to skip out on a vote on Texas’ election reform bill. A photo of the plane cabin shows Howard and several other passengers not wearing masks.
Following the trip, where they met with U.S. officials, Howard along with 5 of her colleagues tested positive for COVID-19.
She subsequently tried to deflect criticism by remarking, “TSA exempts private, non-commercial flights from the mask requirement.”
“Unfortunately, the spike in infections from the delta variant became apparent immediately after our flight,” Howard continued. “Had we known at the time, we would have worn masks.”
Now Howard is facing more mockery after she vehemently called for schoolchildren to be forced to wear masks in class.
“We need to follow the science here,” tweeted Howard. Texas needs to change course and allow for universal mask-wearing to prevent spread of the highly contagious delta variant, esp as children under 12 cannot get vaccinated yet.”
Apparently, Howard is really keen for kids to wear masks but not too bothered about covering her own face, even in close proximity to numerous other people inside a confined space.

We should be publicly applauding the Democrats for ditching their masks. Attacking them for hypocrisy just causes them to try to eliminate the hypocrisy by loudly groveling further to the left.

There is no reason at all why they should be logically consistent because there are no consequences if they are not.
You have much more power if you can argue one way today and the completely opposite way tomorrow.
I’m not surprised they do it, I’m surprised that there are still people who expect anything different or expect that drawing attention to it is going to make any difference.
I’m from Texas, so I’m familiar with this group. This is dumbest bunch of politicians on this planet. None of them could hold a job if they had to, and believe me when I say it takes no skill to do their job. One of them is a Harvard graduate, if you can believe that.
This is the broad that washed her clothes in the hotel sink at her $200 a night DC hotel, and then posted a picture of her bra and leopard pattern panties drying over the shower curtain - in order to show how much she was suffering.
A complete nut bag.
I hold these to be self-evident:
Democrats who flew to DC on a private jet and are/were being put up in a fancy hotel are guilty of taking a political bribe and should be charged.
The owner of the plane and whoever paid the hotel bill should similarly be charged with bribing a public official.
The TX Democrats should also face disciplinary action for dereliction of duty.

Joseph R. Biden issued an executive order entitled “Executive Order on Promoting COVID-19 Safety in Domestic and International Travel” on January 21, 2021 that included the following text:
Sec. 2. Immediate Action to Require Mask-Wearing on Certain Domestic Modes of Transportation.
(a) Mask Requirement. The Secretary of Labor, the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS), the Secretary of Transportation (including through the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)), the Secretary of Homeland Security (including through the Administrator of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and the Commandant of the United States Coast Guard), and the heads of any other executive departments and agencies (agencies) that have relevant regulatory authority (heads of agencies) shall immediately take action, to the extent appropriate and consistent with applicable law, to require masks to be worn in compliance with CDC guidelines in or on:
(i) airports; (ii) commercial aircraft; (iii) trains; (iv) public maritime vessels, including ferries; (v) intercity bus services; and (vi) all forms of public transportation as defined in section 5302 of title 49, United States Code.
Note the term “commercial aircraft”. It does not use the term ‘non-commercial flight”.
The mask order did not apply to their bus trip, but it did to their flight.

How does the emergency oxygen supply work for someone wearing a mask? Would you remove the Covid mask before donning the oxygen mask, or just put one on on top of the other?
Exactly why no one believes anything these critters say any more!!!!
