I celebrated madly when “The miracle on ice” happened back in 1980. But this time around, I want the US to get whacked in the games. I’d like our medal count to be below that of some place like the Philippines.

Funny you should mention the Philippines. Yesterday, they got their very 1st gold medal in any sport. It was in women’s weight lifting, and it was from a sergeant in the philippine Air Force. She was very proud of her country. You could tell. When they played the Philippine national anthem, she snapped to attention, saluted, and was bawling her eyes out during the anthem.
That was their first. When I last looked, we had 7. None of them did any kind of protest on the podium.
Now, my question to you: WHY do you want us humiliated so badly? What could you possibly want to come out of that?
I want the soccer girls and the pro black basketball boys to get whipped. Or at least lose out.
Otherwise, it depends on the athlete. I don’t wish for the whole lot to get beaten.
