BJ’s had them for years, but there was such a shortage of Dunkin Donut franchises in Greater Boston that they opened a new one after closing the Hot Dog stand in their warehouse store.

Costco may still sell them but I have not been in the nearby one here in decades and I never shall go in one again. I saw that Costco CEO speak at the DNC conventions and I got no time for that place ever again.

Costco was my first real boycott, then Target, then many others. Sometimes I even forget who I am avoiding now as there are so many.

I just want to get through this place even as I want to hurl because of the Capitalists who are wrecking the place.

I’ve never seen any food vendors in Home Depots in our area.

We did have them outside some of our HDs, at least in my neck of the California woods, but they have been gone for several years.

Sounds like an opportunity for someone with a hot dog stand.

There are hot dog/sausage sandwich trailers in the parking lots in both New Hampshire and Florida. The quality of the hot dogs is way above average in both.

Never had them at our Home Depot but seems like a food truck parked outside would do a alot of business.

Excellent idea! “Celery Dogs!” Just identify the hotdogs as celery sticks!

"Williams, like so many, found the aroma of cooking hot dogs wafting through the air of Home Depot stores comforting - something to count on."

Use to get the same feeling from an aroma when I was in Victoria's Secret with the wife when she shopped there...

Might be wrong, because it was so very very long ago...

IAC, times change... This past April I bought her a new computer and some roses to celebrate 61-years since we got married... The aroma from the roses just made me sneeze...Uncomfortably...

Never once have I been in a Home Depot and thought to myself “I just came in here for a ____ (plunger, light bulb, bug spray, etc) but man oh man a hotdog would be great right now!”

Florida had them at the Polk and Hillsborough County stores. Patronized Home Depot for that reason. Always got a sausage sandwich with cooked onions and peppers. Delicious. If I did not see a hot dog stand there, I went to a Home Depot where there was one.

Here in the Raleigh area we had them at Lowes. They disappeared during Covid but are making a comeback.

When I first moved to Florida in 1992 they had hot chicks standing on street corners in bikinis selling hot dogs out of a car.

I still miss them

“Progressives/leftists/Covidiots are ruining everything.”

In this case, they’re trying to break the ‘habit’ of Americans eating meat and likely put pressure on Home Depot management to stop the slaughter (as they see it). So, yet another victory for the Left, although relatively small in the scheme of things.

Aw hell. K-Mart had a decent grub stop where I lived as a child. Visalia CA. Yeah. The hot dogs were the best.

Who’s next, Costco???

Our HD never had the hot dogs. But, last time I was at our Costco they were still selling them for a very low price :)
