LONDON — This is a puzzler. Coronavirus cases are plummeting in Britain. They were supposed to soar. Scientists aren't sure why they haven't.
The daily number of new infections recorded in the country fell for seven days in a row before a slight uptick Wednesday, when the country reported 27,734 cases. That’s still almost half of where the caseload was a week ago.

They learned from liberal US cities.
When you don’t report something, like a crime, or infections, they never show up in your stats.
Kind of cool, isn’t that?
That raw number is meaningless. Like a numerator without a denominator. Cases are down. Is testing down too?
>> Scientists aren’t sure why they haven’t.
“They blinded me with science... science!!!”
I was thinking they got
a Fresh batch
Of Dentists!
WaPo Whopper?
Here’s this....
The seven-day average for infections was 37.1% down from the previous week, but fatalities were up by 28.9%.
OR. Everyone on the island has been infected with the dreaded “delta” variant, the alpha beta... variants, and been vaccinated so there aren’t many more people to infect
👍👍👍
Hardly anybody is dying from the delta-variant
Its basically just like the flu, and its passing quickly.
I remember them playing that song on the Smothers Brothers show and then they would pay them to Tommy with some ridiculous mustache holding a gun!
Obviously it’s time to turn the UK into a Soviet style gulag.
Then they’ll have to roll out another Variant because They’re gonna need something for the midterms
Is there something the scientists can do to change this?
Our borders are open. Theirs are not.
As the percent of vaccinated people and previously infected people approached 100%, the case numbers should drop to near zero.
Math is hard for the people at the WaPo.
Some version of COVID will be here as long as it is useful to the Left.
Its not a puzzle. The “Delta” wave is ebbing, just like previous covid waves. This time with no significant death toll.
Fatalities lag trends of detections by 2-3 weeks.
