The AFL-CIO wasn’t anti-American like so many organizations are. He wasn’t a fan of our side but I never got the vibe he wanted anything more than more money or benefits for the members.

Wow, AFL-CIO Union Comes Out in Support of Illegal Alien Workers Taking U.S. Jobs…

https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2019/08/08/wow-afl-cio-union-comes-out-in-support-of-illegal-alien-workers-taking-u-s-jobs/

In a remarkable admission today on Twitter AFL-CIO Labor Union President Richard Trumka supports the principle of illegal alien workers taking the jobs of American workers. This is quite a bucket of sunlight upon a previously hidden agenda.

He supported the pols that sold off all the US jobs to China. He knew what he was doing.

He was a scumbag who could care less about anything but power.

Before the AFL-CIO he was the head of the United Mine Workers... yet in 2016 he endorsed Hillary who said she was going to put a lot of them out of work.

How could he do that in good conscience?

When Donald Trump first became president, he set up the Presidential Council on Manufacturing. The goal was to bring jobs back to America. Richard Trumka joined that council. This shows that Trumka had at least some common sense, and was willing to work with Trump.

Unfortunately, the whole thing fell apart after the Charlottesville incident. Then Trumka reverted back to being a Democrat hack.

All labor unions are communist, but some hide it better than others.

More money that he & his cronies could soak up perhaps the rank-n-file got some but only as an after thought.

Fundamentally he was a gangster ask the Yablonski family!

To the best of my knowledge, Trumka did not oppose Hillary’s plan to shut down the mines and throw the miners out of work. He also doesn’t have appeared to have spoken out strongly against the outsourcing of jobs to China. A strong union leader, dedicated to the welfare of his members, would have gone to verbal war with these threats to his members.
