During a crisis some people become first fearful, then diffusely anxious and finally delusional complete with magical thinking. This COVID 19 virus is no joke. Susceptible people ( and there is still no test to determine just who is genetically susceptible) when exposed often get colonized, some become transiently ill with relatively minor symptoms, others become very seriously ill and many of those die. Best estimates are about 1/200 infected people do die. To date that has been about 600,000 dead in the US. Now the very best ongoing protection other than genetic (which cannot yet be determined) is having had COVID and then recover. Next best is to take the imperfect Trump warp speed developed vaccines despite the possible side effects, some of them serious. Very much doubt masks and self isolation works well long term. Magical thinking and political posturing will not save anyone. Also the politicization of the NIH,CDC and posturing, virtue signaling,lying “health officials” only destroys trust and makes the problem worse. Then again its a free country and you can gamble or manage with your own health any way it suits you.

Seriously, is it “misinformation” or is it a galloping case of 'expert fatigue' that leads to mistrust of almost all opinion and information outlets? Think of how the solutions have been presented to us since COVID started its run. A 3-week isolation to break the cycle, masks don't help, masks required, double masking, 'vaccination and you're safe' ...
Has anybody in authority actually apologized for this epic string of confident proclamations that have turned untrue? Can't any see that a constant stream of experts being WRONG leads to just these conditions where people just hunker down and close their ears?

Where are the mainstream stories of those who have died from the vaccine? I’ve read them and watched the videos on alternative sites such as telegram. Thousands dead after the vax. Where are those stories in any mainstream publication? Propaganda - that’s all they give us.
I'm both in SES1066's camp, and I've seen enough anecdotal evidence from real-world people I trust to take this threat from China seriously.
We are awash in "experts" that get it wrong, time after time after time.
It is also true that we lost FReeper terart (at the very least, some people just haven't been posting lately), JimTorr lost his unvaccinated nephew, my next door neighbor lost his father and almost lost his brother, and we had a good family friend that spent a couple of months at the hospital.
That isn't fear porn, that's - as best I can tell - the reality of the situation.
There reports on the vaccines can be scary, but I made the call recently that for me, it seems to make sense to take it. It's a roll of the dice, AND IT IS MY FREE CHOICE I'M MAKING, but that seems wisest for me.

Exactly. Last week the fear template was the dying skeptics bemoaning that they never got the vaccine and now it was too late, but their dying plea is for everyone else to get the vaccine.
This week the fear template is: MULTIPLE UNVACCINATED PEOPLE IN THE SAME FAMILY...CHURCH...WHATEVER...ALL DEAD!!!!!!!!!!

Quit listening to Fauci and CDC and actually look up the situation. There are lots of authorities saying these things, vax developers and virologists etc.
Sorry, but we know who died from covid:
*Persons 70 and older
*Persons with preexisting conditions
*Obese persons
There are more than enough people who’ve had serious side effects or died from these mRNA gene therapy drugs to have them removed from the market. These things are NOT vaccines!
