She keeps digging.
She may not want others to be exposed to what she went through. When she gets older perhaps she’ll realize her own efforts and luck at overcoming those obstacles. At this point in life she just wants to have fun.
I always thought baby boomers would eventually grow out of their own self indulgence in other areas. Guess I was wrong.
