There are record floods scattered all over the northern hemispere. Humans have settled en masse in the flood plains. Worldwide the flood plains have flooded and destroyed the roads, houses and buildings. Untold numbers of cars and trucks have been literally swept down flooded road ways.
Then, to average out the rainfall, some places are getting no rain at all. The great storage basins are nearly dry. There is inadequate flow to generate electricity from the dams. Crops are endangered. worse, golf course greens are endangered. There is in Western America massive heat and drought
Of course, even the floods are in the ancient but currently habitated flood plains and the heat and drought are in the ancient deserts, all across the world there is hue and cry to end climate change.
