President Joe Biden issued a statement Saturday blaming former President Donald Trump after the Taliban rapidly took control of the majority of Afghanistan’s major cities.
“When I came to office, I inherited a deal cut by my predecessor,” Biden wrote, complaining that Trump negotiated a deal “that left the Taliban in the strongest position militarily since 2001.”

This is a non starter for Biden.
For it to work, Biden will need to do this himself, which should be entertaining.
Nobody plays the blame game with Trump and wins.

Note to Biden: It was not a treaty. It was mere presidential agreement, having no more enforcement power by you than did the bum deal Obama negotiated with the Mullahs in Tehran.
And do mister Biden explain how the agreement Trump invoked was different materially than the one Obama was trying to get with the Taliban when he was in office. Trumps agreement was nothing so different than Obama kept trying to get.
I got a real bad feeling about what’s about to go down in Afghanistan. If Biden is already going to the media to blame Trump for that country’s meltdown he knows the situation there is on the verge of catastrophe, and he’s looking for a scapegoat fast!
Biden has been in office for almost seven months.
