I think that you and I are both seeing the strategy here. Create an artificial crisis of such massive proportion that it requires another war.
Oh and look at the timing with regards to elections. Let the crisis develop for a couple of years, and then say we have to go back.... just in time for the next election cycle.
Though I dont think Joe will benefit. He will be out of office by then and taking the blame for failed policies with him so that the next Dem candidate will look “clean”.
