This is Joe Biden’s Jimmy Carter moment
NY Post ^ | 08/17/2021 | Kyle Smith

The utterly nauseating and unnecessary abandonment of Afghanistan to its fate recalls a similar humiliation at the hands of Islamist radicals in the Jimmy Carter administration.

President Biden’s profligate spending policies are unleashing inflation that is sparking voter distrust so noticeable that even NPR is sounding the alarm.

He is begging OPEC to come up with more oil while interfering with US production. He announced barely a month ago, with great confidence, “The Taliban is not the South — the North Vietnamese army. They’re not — they’re not remotely comparable in terms of capability.

“There’s going to be no circumstance where you see people being lifted off the roof of a embassy in the — of the United States from Afghanistan. It is not at all comparable.”

In Biden’s best days, it was well known he was a retard.

Who ever thought someone who has been in the senate 40 years should be raised up to president? He is the problem, not part of the solution. All those career a$$holes must go!!!

However, he does manage to make Jeb bush appear to be full of boundless energy.

So, once again, Biden is plagiarizing someone.

Let’s face the much bigger truth.

Whenever a democrat is president, the nation and the world are in big danger of more wars and with a less capable American military. Democrats don’t care about military matters, and only deal with it because it’s a presidential duty. Carter and Clinton and Obama and now Biden, have all short-changed our military, and would rather spend ALL of the American taxes on domestic spending, such as Medicare/Medicaid and food stamps and welfare and government subsidized housing and lately, the hoax of global warming and ‘social justice’. The military is nothing but an obstacle to democrats.

That’s because the last thing to go is the ego. He is a lifelong politician because he is a lifelong power-monger. Just because he can’t collect two coherant thoughts together doesn’t mean that the need for power diminishes.

You’re exactly right. Because of that fact, the “Carter Malaise” of that ridiculous administration is going to be doubly hard on Americans this time around. Carter didn’t have a decade of voodoo economics like quantitative easing and “stimulus packages” that have the potential of making the XiBiden administration the one that broke the bank.

I don’t know what it will be labeled by future historians but XiBiden owns every bit of the current state of sad affairs and history will not be kind to him or his sycophantic enablers and gullible supporters.

It wouldn’t surprise me at all if Biden did a 180 and sent troops back into Afghanistan, in significant numbers. Reason = “whatever.”

I’ve added some disco tunes to my ITunes.

Shine your love is one. Prompted by watching Angel’s Revenge too many times.

Holy smokes, I haven’t thought about that for many moons. Can you imagine the squealing we would hear from the snowflakes if that happened today in conjunction with e-cars and scooters included, to protect the power grid for the children.
