I sure hope it’s just internet rumor, but there is speculation that the Taliban could take American citizens hostage. And this could make the Iranian hostage crisis look like a folk dance.

But if the Taliban REALLY, REALLY, *REALLY* wants to utterly HUMILIATE the U.S., instead of taking any American hostages, they will become the greatest airport bell hop and shuttle service ever on planet Earth, and industriously ensure that EVERY LAST American citizen gets safely to the airport and out of Afghanistan 100% intact.
WHY?
Because the Taliban doing inept s##tpile Biden’s f’n job FOR his raggedy ass, and doing it 1000 times better and more thoroughly than he could ever hope to orchestrate in a bazillion years...and I mean right down to making sure any little kids don’t leave without their Barbies or teddy bears.
Because the Taliban standing the ENTIRE slate of world leaders on their ears by doing THE VERY LAST THING anyone would EVER dream of expecting from them is just TOO delicious.
THAT would be THE MOST EPIC “EFF THE RUDDY LOT OF YE” event in the entire history of this planet, and it’s an opportunity that I DEARLY HOPE Taliban leadership sees, and acts on.
They’d get 100 times more geopolitical capital doing that then they would keeping hostages.
