President Joe Biden vowed Friday to get all Americans and Afghan allies out of Afghanistan and took questions from White House reporters - on a pre-approved list - for the first time in nine days.
'Let me be clear, any American who wants to come home, we will get you home,' Biden pledged during the speech he started 50 minutes late where he stumbled over answers.
The president made the promise to 'mobilize every force necessary' despite admitting he doesn't know how many Americans were left and he 'cannot promise what the final outcome will be'.

Looks like Biden has replaced the stay in Mexico policy with his own stay in Afghanistan policy

That’s almost Clintonesque.
So now the White House can say they kept their promise when thousands of Americans go missing. “Those people didn’t want to leave.”
Guess he hasn’t had the memo read to him ve-e-e-ry slowly yet: the Biased Media (BM for short) aren’t going to cover his lies for him anymore.

Appeared to me that it took his team a bit longer to organize the questions and answers so he could seem to be taking questions, when it is clear that the reporters had let their questions be reviewed so everyone could stay on script. Then there was the problem of someone going a little off script.
They delay because they are getting last minute opinions from the media that they can spin.
